Best Dressing table EVER

All I remember from the article about this was that a Frenchwoman closed up her apartment just before WWII and left it closed until she died. 
She had been a famous beauty around the turn of the century.
I think this is the most superlative Victorian dressing table I have ever seen - ever.

    Isn't it? I have never, in my 50+ years of life and looking at so many books and visiting as many Victorian homes (and some castles) seen anything to compare with the complexity and richness of this dresser. I don't think I could even replicate it in miniature.
    But I just stand in awe of the cabinet-maker who crafted it.
